Graph Builder, Local Kernel (Tri-Cubic) with linear degree. How is JMP selecting the bandwidth (need to report method for compliance )?

Hello,

I used the Local Kernel Smoother (Tri-Cubic) with linear connector for my ordinal x-axis scale.

Now I need to report the methodology and calculation approach within my pharmaceutical compliance report.

I could not find in the instruction's manual how the bandwidth was calculated or other details.

Could someone give me the exact approach JMP 17.2 is using for as described in my first sentence?

Thank you all!

I would guess the details are same as here Basic Analysis > Bivariate Analysis > Bivariate Fit Reports > Kernel Smoother Report but maybe someone from JMP can verify.
