Gantt Chart

Hello everybody,

i would like to generate a plot which is showing the machine capacity (with a defined production time) of 5 different machines over a certain period of time (see the attatched image). It is quite similar to a gantt Chart.

Do you have any suggestions how to build this graph?

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Johannes

Re: Gantt Chart

Hi @JohannesENS ,

There appears to be a blog by @arati_mejdal from 2013 that addresses this exact issue. She wrote an add-in for generating Gantt charts, and if what you're after is basically that, then you're probably best off downloading the add-in from her blog here. This would probably get you to your solution fastest.

Hope this helps,

DS

Re: Gantt Chart

You can also build a pretty great Gantt Chart by scratch by following the instructions in this presentation.  The steps and data are included: Best of “Pictures from the Gallery”
