Functional Data Analyses returning DoE-factor (FDOE?)

Is it possible to do Functional Data Analyses like FPCA where the components reflect DoE-factors? (like in ASCA). It seems that FDOE profiler does something similar. Where can I fin it in JMP 18-pro?

Re: Functional Data Analyses returning DoE-factor (FDOE?)

Hi @EduardDerks,

Welcome to the Community !

Short answer : Yes, it is possible and you can try this analysis with the dataset "Functional Data/Formulation For Homogeneity DOE.jmp" from JMP sample library, using this guide from the JMP Help : Example of Functional DOE Analysis

I have done this kind of study and you can visualize the analysis, results and presentation here Use of Functional Data Explorer in a Mixture Design for Tribological Performance...

If you have more precise questions or follow-up questions, I would be more than happy to continue the discussion.

Hope this first answer will help you,
