Equivalence between two manufacturing lines

Hi all,

I am attempting to display a TOST or equivalence between two distributions of the same output, but on different manufacturing lines.

I understand you can get to this by the Fit Y by X, but a little confused as there is no Response/Factor situation, but rather a distribution of output Y1 on the donor process, and a distribution of output Y2 on the recipient process.

Is there a simple way to define your LEL and UEL without having to input a Y response and X factor on the Fit Y by X option?

Thanks

Betreff: Equivalence between two manufacturing lines

Hey there,

I am not sure if I understand your question correctly, but maybe if you have a look at this video it might help you:

And there are just two columns used for the test.

Hope that is what you were looking for.

Re: Equivalence between two manufacturing lines

The solution here is simple. Set your data up in a data table so that the responses are in one continuous numeric data column and the manufacturing line is indicated in another nominal data column. (You can use a number or a character label in the second column.) Select Analyze > Fit Y by X. You should end up in the Oneway platform. Select Equivalence Test from the red triangle menu.

No, there is no way to specify the tolerance outside of the Oneway plaftorm.
