Which clustering technique do you use ?
If I understand well your question, you can have access to cluster mean results of the X variables used in the clustering.
- Example with Hierarchical clustering (click on red triangle, "Cluster Summary" to display the summary) on Big Class dataset with 5 clusters:
- Example with K-Means on Big Class dataset with 2 clusters:
- Same display for Normal Mixtures :
So you can use these information to calculate the mean distances for each X variables between the 2 clusters you have.
