Control right-click doesn't select all the plots for Legend, etc.

JMP version 17.2 stopped supporting control right-click option to put legend for all the plots. Is this a known issue or is there a work-around it?

Adding legends to which plots? And using exactly which option? I assume you mean adding row legends to reports when using By columns?

If you mean this, it seems to work for me (but for some reason it didn't work on first time, maybe I wasn't holding ctrl down as I couldn't replicate that)

Hi All,

I think this is my JMP problem, and AJS is helping me to post it in this User Community.
so let me describe this problem again.
I use JMP pro 16 version and plot using "Fit Y by X"
I want to add "Row legend" to all my plot,
so, I press "control" button then click right mouse, and it work for all plots.
but I don't know when this (ctrl+right click) stopped working...
so, I uninstall JMP16 and install latest JMP 17 to see if it can help.
but even after I install JMP 17, I still encounter this problem.
so, any solution?
would this problem relate to my windows setting or windows registry?

This still works for me in version 17.

Does the right-click and Row Legend work WITHOUT using the CTRL key? In other words, does the row legend feature work on a single plot? That might help narrow down what the issue might be. If it works for one plot, but not with the CTRL, you will likely need to send this on to JMP Technical Support. I am not aware of any preference or registry setting that controls this.

Yes, right-click and Row Legend work "without" using CTRL key.
you are right, row legend feature only work for single plot.
if I have 10 plots, each plot need add row legend, I have to do it 10 times.

in fact, if I press and hold the CTRL key then click right-button, the menu can not pop-up.
without CTRL key then click right-button, menu can pop-up.

one interest thing is CTRL+right-click is work for red-down-triangle

I think you can find the contact information from communitys toolbar (top)

I just send them an email (I use the add-in but it isn't necessary, https://community.jmp.com/t5/JMP-Add-Ins/Contact-JMP-Technical-Support-Add-in/ta-p/24144) . Just describe your problem as well as you can and provide some basic information: operating system, jmp version(s) used and so on. They will then ask you extra questions if needed. If you get a solution please post it back here so everyone in community can learn from it.
