  • How do I make start/stop bar charts?

    Suppose I have this data: StepStartStopmixer02heater1112.3injector144.5mixer68heater210.313injector11212.5heater11625.4mixer1820heater223.430mixer2426fan2445mixer3040 ... and I want to make this plot (just the bars):  Is that possible with GraphBuilder?  (note this image is a mockup with PowerPoint)

    Via File/Preferences, you can change the standard settings of Jmp.Very cool to adjust Jmp to your needs :) But I found a subtle issue - in combination with the functionality to automatically generate JSL code (save to script, advanced log, Dashboards, log, Workflow Builder ...) The below code changes the preferences, so - please think twice if you want to try it . The story:A user adjusts some set...

  • Text annotation size and text placement control: help needed

    All,  I need to place several text annotations on a plot. They are one liners, but different length. So that's why I have to use Fixed Size(0) to adjust label length to match text.  But when I do that, it also adjusts the vertical size and puts the text way too high, which for some reason bothers me very much (plot on the left). If I set Fixed Size(1), then I can control size of the label directly...

    I run weekly reports on physiochemical attributes. The old process was to manually input data from excel into JMP. After entering the new data into JMP two scripts are run: Run Chart and Control Chart scripts, that are saved to the Data Table.   • Creating a separate Y axis for each panel of my bar chart

    Hello everyone! Does anyone know how to create individual Y axis for a bar chart that consists of two different panels?
