  • Exponential Distribution Tolerance Interval

Hello. Having one question, seen the old jump have quantile probability pop-up window feature to type probability to get the quantile number. Not seeing it in JUMP 17 anymore, can I ask if tolerance interval is the same replacing it?   Hoping to find the matching quantile based on the sigma value provided and corresponding probability. i.e. 6 sigma (0.999999999), 4.8 sigma (0.999999)   Selecting o...

  • How do I find the "between run standard deviation percent of total standard deviation" in JMP?

I am trying to find the Between-run standard deviation percent of total standartd deviation on some data in JMP. I have an old example of the output I am looking for from previous data analysis that was completed in minitab (see attached screenshot). How do I get the same type of results in JMP?

Mirco and I are here to give you a head start on your visualization project.

We're not going into the complete analysis, but instead, we're unwrapping the data from the 2025 Spanish Grand Prix.

We'll walk you through all 29 variables available in the dataset, explaining precisely what each one represents.

This video is designed to be your guide to understanding the raw data, helping you to make inf...

  • How do I conduct common factor analysis and principal component analysis with a correlation matrix?

Hello: I would like to know how to input a correlation matrix (or covariance matrix) into JMP to conduct a common factor analysis (or principal components analysis).  I cannot find any examples in the documentation or anywhere.   I am sure somebody has done it before in JMP. Can you post your solution? Thanks Narayanan

  • One sided tolerance interval formula

I have a data set and I determined the one-sided upper tolerance interval using JMP, using a 95/95%. For work, I need to do it in excel, does anyone have the formula for the one-sided tolerance interval, so I do it in excel, as new data comes in. I was able to determine the two-sided tolerance interval, but not one-sided. Thank you Andrea

  • Power Explorer for Two Independent Sample Equivalence

Does anyone have a case study of the use of the Power Explorer for Two Independent Sample Equivalence?   Ideally, the case study would demonstrate it's use for scale-up from future pilot line trials to eventual full production.     I ask this because there doesn't seem to be an example and/or sample data file on this subject in the JMP Help.
