  • Overlay normal quantile plots without long string labels

    Hello,

    I am a longtime user of JMP7. To make overlay normal quantile plots I use Fit Y by X, where Y is the continual variable like Height and X is a categorical variable like Gender. Using Right-click/Legend gives a nice color coded legend for the curves, but JMP also tries to label each curve way up at the top (upper quantile) end of the curve. Invariably these are ugly and overlap each other. ...

  • How to copy graph into latex

    Hello everyone,

    I am a new user of latex and JMP. I just produced a graph and want to import it into my latex editor. Does anyone have an idea how to go about it?

    Thanks in advance

  • Date formula not working

    What could cause the Date function to not fill the column. I have three tables, one of which the Date Time : Date (MDY) worked just fine. In the other two tables however, after selecting the proper table columns (MONTH, DAY, YEAR), no date data filled the column. This seems so simple that I am rather perplexed. Ideas?

  • How to calculate 'slope' or gradient

    I am looking for a way to calculate the slope or gradient of data. I need to do the same function as slope (X1:X4, Y1:Y4) in excel but to be able to program it into a jmp script.

    Regards

  • DOE analysis in JMP, ocnfused

    I used DOE ----> Screening Design to set up a DOE study for 1out put (height, maximize purpose) with 3 factors (rate, temp, speed, all continuous). I chose the design of full factorial (8 runs + 2 center points).

    After I got the results of the totally 10 runs, I type them into the design table.

    Here, I got confusion.

    Now I have two ways to analyze the data.

    1. Analyze ---> Fit Model.

    In this ...
