  • How to Save the intercept of many analyses (for bachelor project)

Dear community! I'm currently working on my bachelor's project which examines the performance of mutual funds here in Denmark. As you might know, when you look at the performance of mutual funds, you are interested in whether the fund has beaten its benchmark or not. To comment on this, you look at Alphas, which is the intercept of a regression analysis. So far, me and my partner have written the ...

  • How to ignore in case of no outliers in missing outliers jsl?

I have a explore outlier jsl that runs on a big database. Sometimes the explore outlier doesn't find any outlier (because the data is quite tightly distributed) and the jsl gives an error. How do I add a ignore or try statement in the following script to skip the explore outlier code?dt1 = Current Data Table(); eo = dt1 << Explore Outliers( Y( :var1 ), K Sigma( 2 ), Robust Fit Outliers, Where(...

  • Bars not centered on axis labels

I am very new to JMP and it took me almost three hours to make the graph that's in the image attached. I have no idea how to code, but was told to try JMP out for data analysis. My issue right now is that my bars aren't centered on the axis labels. I've tried changing the spacing on the axis, but that just makes the bars move even more. Any help would be appreciated because I am very lost and I ha...

  • Life Distribution Parameters

I used a large series of survival data to create life distribution and found loglogistic model was the best fit. I am trying to input those parameters into a cost effectiveness software to model survival probability. However, I cannot figure out how the JMP parameter labels translate to the other software labels (TreeAge Pro).

  • Remove non labels from hovering information

Hi All, I was wondering if the is a way to define that coordinates will not be shown when hovering the cursor over points? By default, when hovering the cursor over a point in any graph, the label is given together with the coordinates.  I would like only the labels to be shown. In the example picture, I would like not to see the height and weight but just the name. Thank you!

  • How do I get percentage difference by function within JMP platform?

I'm working with a large dataset with a single continuous number column and then multiple nominal columns. I need to understand the % delta (or % difference) in the number column as a result of toggles in the nominal columns. With the Fit Y by X platform, I can readily add a function to provide the raw difference (as with the t test function), but I can find nothing for the % delta I'm needing. And...
