  • nonparametric equivalent to two-way ANOVA?

Hi all,I have data that does not transform to fit assumptions of normality and homoscedasticity needed to perform a two-way ANOVA. I have found information on how to run nonparametric tests that are the equivalent of one-way ANOVAs, but can't find a way to do a two-way nonparametric analysis. Suggested tests (from an online search) are Cochran Q and/or Friedman's test. Not sure if there is some ot...

Pressing the right radio button In the example script below stretches the window as the checkbox descriptors expand. Reselecting the left radio button results in shorter descriptors but the panel box (and window) retains its expanded state. How can I force the panel box to revert to ...

I have looked to see if there are checked off to be hidden but they are not. So how do I make them visible al...

Hello fellow JMP users,I am new in this forum, so I apologize in advance if this question was already asked.Right after installing JMP 9, I added a few add ins, and didn't notice that one of them was a trial that has now expired and not working anymore. I would like to remove it from my JMP (so it doesn't apppear in the menu anymore). How do I do that ?Thank you in advance

Hi,I'd like to count the number of cells in a column with zero as the value (or another arbitrary number).  Ideally, the results would be outputted as a list of counts.  Can someone point me in the right direction?  Thank you.Regards,Will

  • Firth-bias adjusted estimates

I am running some choice models in JMP. I am using the one-table method rather than the method with the separate profile, response, and subject tables. When I run my model with the Firth bias adjusted estimates box checked, the model fails with the note "cannot calculate objective at starting value." When I uncheck the Firth box, the model runs and I get output that appears reasonable. Couple ques...
