  • Custom Sort Order

I have multiple steps in a process in time order.... P2, C2, F2. These are values in my OPERATION column. When I use the Summary Platform in my JMP script, I can specify ascending (C2, F2, P2) or descending (P2, F2, C2). I really want it sorted in time order P2, C2, F2. I realize I can create another column with 1 next to P2, 2 next to C2, and 3 next to F2, but is there a way that I can specif...

  • Matched pairs

    hi all,
I have this type of JMP file:

where I have for each subject, many value at different times (in the exemple, MAP at 0, 30, 60 and 120, but in the real table, I have numerous columns and numerous time for each subject)).
I want to compare MAP at 30 with MAP at 0 for all subject using matched pairs (because I want to see a variation, and MAP at T0 is not always the same between the subjects).
    B...

  • Nested design help in JMP 9 for Repeated Measures Data

I'm trying to analyze the following repeated measures data:

    I have 6 subjects (ID 1-6)

Each subject is tested at 4 levels (45,55,65,75)

    and 6 frequencies (1-6)

    The dependent measure is "weight"

So my JMP Table has the following Columns:

Subject ID, Frequency, 45 Weight, 55 Weight, 65 Weight, 75 Weight

There are 36 columns (6 sub x 6 frequencies and 4 weights across)

I am using the MANOVA platform with t...

  • Mixed effects Models (REML) in JMP-understanding the denominator DF

I am attempting to run mixed effects models (using the REML method) in the fit model platform in JMP 8.0.1. I have two random factors and two fixed factors. I have run the same model for two different response variables (so the structure, number of reps etc is identical) and am puzzled by the fact that the reported denominator DF in my fixed factor effect test report is not the same for both mo...

  • Help for an experimentalist

Is there a straightforward way to run a simple analysis of covariance, and receive the ANOVA table as output?

How about any estimate of effect size, such as Cohen's d, Eta-squared, or Omega-squared?

Any way to receive actual group means instead of least squares means in the post-hoc analyses? (see: http://onbiostatistics.blogspot.com/2009/04/least-squares-means-marginal-means-vs.html)

  • Control Charting with transactional recordset

    Hello,

I'm trying to understand if JMP supports a control chart graph directly from transactional data without first having to create a summary table.

The JMP sample data table called Washers contains 15 records showing the count of defects per lot size of 400. Taking one step back there may have existed a data table of 6000 records (15x400) where each record contained the defect count of 1 or 0. W...
