Risk ratio vs hazard ratio

The proportional hazards model in JMP reports the ratio as a "risk ratio". How is this different from a "hazard ratio" and why does JMP report the risk ratio instead of the hazard ratio?

Re: Risk ratio vs hazard ratio

The risk ratio calculated by JMP’s Fit Proportional Hazards is the ratio of hazard rates. It measures the relative risks. You can refer to risk ratio as hazard ratio.
