The proportional hazards model in JMP reports the ratio as a "risk ratio". How is this different from a "hazard ratio" and why does JMP report the risk ratio instead of the hazard ratio?

The risk ratio calculated by JMP’s *Fit Proportional Hazards* is the ratio of hazard rates. It measures the relative risks. You can refer to risk ratio as hazard ratio.
