There may be times when you need to remove all JMP files from your system. Follow these steps to completely remove all JMP system and configuration files from your macOS system.
Note: The following steps require full administrator privileges. If you do not have full administrator privileges on your computer, you will need assistance from your organization's IT department.
procedure
Remove JMP applications
- In Finder, select Go → Applications.
- Locate all JMP applications in the Applications folder and drag them to the Trash. (You may need to enter your password to complete this action.)
Delete JMP User Customized Data
- In Finder, select Go → Go to Folder.
- Type ~/Library and press Enter.
- In that user's folder, open the Application Support folder.
- Select the JMP folder and drag it to the Trash (you may need to enter your password to complete this action).
- Navigate to ~/Library and back.
- Open the Preferences folder.
- Find all "com.sas.jmp" files and drag them to the Trash.
There should be at least a com.sas.jmp.plist file, but there may be more than one.
Delete JMP global customization data
- In Finder, select Go → Go to Folder.
- Type /Library and press Enter.
- In that System Library folder, open the Application Support folder.
- Select the JMP folder and drag it to the Trash (you may need to enter your password to complete this action).
- Empty the Recycle Bin.
This removes all JMP system and configuration files from your macOS system.
