When we export to PDFs, the dialog shows how many pages it will take. In a lot of applications, I scale down (after setting header and other options) to get to one page. Since JMP already has an estimate of the number of pages, it should be possible for it to automatically tune the scaling so that it is the maximal size that only produces a single page.
