Wish List Prioritization Survey 2025

[edited and shortened]:
What inspired this wish list request?
Who doesn’t know them—the colleagues who assign a different color or marker to the same variant in every new plot!
To ensure consistency in your plots, JMP offers helpful features.
For Color, JMP offer the Value Colors feature to lock in consistent color assignments across graphs, which is a lifesaver for visual clarity and collaboration. But when it comes to marker shapes, things get trickier. There’s no built-in equivalent Value Markers in the column properties, which means marker assignments often have to be manually redefined or scripted for each graph.
What is the improvement you would like to see?
My wish: An additional column property to specify Marker settings for specific column values.
The functionality should be analog to "value colors", but for markers.
Why is this idea important?
JMP is lacking a functionality to assign Markers "consistently" across plots.
