Update to graph builder legend when using colour or mark by column

When using 'colour or mark by column' from the 'Rows' menu, one can assign different symbols or colours to different variables, but the graph legend in graph builder does not update to show the reader what each symbol or colour represents (the actual data points update, but the legend does not) - it would be great if we could have the legend update as well to really elevate this functionality.

Definitely a needed feature.  This has always been a frustration...

I think it will be hard to add whatever Color / Marker which is used as Row State to a Legend.

How to define the label? the row? the value of a specific column?

a dummy value to be edited manually?

Did you consider using Column Properties like Value Colors?

They are much more versatile than Row States:

- different settings for different columns

- legends get automatically adjusted

Unfortunately, at the moment, there is no possibility to define Value Markers, but there is a wish to add this feature:
new Column Property: Value Markers
