What inspired this wish list request? I was using the simulator platform in the Profiler to run a simulation experiment and I needed to change a bunch of the factors to normal truncated. This took a lot longer than it should have as I had to change each manually.
What is the improvement you would like to see? I would like to see the ability to set the distribution types and the Distibution parameters from a reference data table.
Why is this idea important? For more complicated column types in the Simulate model or for trying to experiment quickly with different process factor behaviors this will greatly increase user speed and platform ease.
