What inspired this wish list request?
Platform Presets in JMP 18 and 19 EA are powerful tools to apply consistent styling to reports. However, they lack a feature that has been a consistent part of the JMP experience: holding ctrl does not broadcast the preset to all similar report instances in the current window.
What is the improvement you would like to see?
When applying a preset to a plot, report, etc, I should be able to hold the ctrl key and broadcast the preset to all similar reports in the same window. This would address instances like multiple Ys in the same Fit Curve analysis, multiple By groups in a fit model, or any other instance where the same platform exists multiple times.
Why is this idea important?
Consistency in styling and content is important for reports, and the Platform Presets lose a lot of value if they aren't applied evenly. Broadcasting is an effective and efficient way to do this.
