Report Outputs to Data Tables

Hello,

Can the features to make report outputs into data tables (single or combined) be enhanced to create a single, merged data table (with appropriate formatting) for all blocks in the report? Currently, each unique block has to be separately ported to a data table and subsequent table processing is needed to combine them.

@MShroff it is not clear what you would like to do.  Can you provide more detail on what the tasks you are doing?  

Is this related to the capability that JMP currently has to right-click a table in a JMP report and make that into a data table?  Currently that works one of two ways:

• If you select Make Into Data Table, then a single JMP data table is created from that report table
• If you select Make Into Combined Data Table, then a single JMP data table is created that combines all of the report tables that are similar in the report (e.g. all of the parameter estimates tables in Fit Model if there are multiple model fits), along with an appropriate label column.

Is what you are wanting a way to export all JMP report tables (tables of different types of results) at once?  Can you show us an example of what the analysis problem is and the final result you want to achieve is?

Hello,

Yes, I'm asking about the option to make individual or combined data tables. The request is to allow an option to either write out the parameters of the selected table into rows (as is currently the case) or columns. It would also be useful to be able to simultaneously create merged tables combining different report elements.
