We want to hear your ideas for improving JMP software.

We consider several factors when looking for what ideas to add to JMP. This includes what will have the greatest benefit to our customers based on scope, needs and current resources. Product ideas help us decide what features to work on next. Additionally, we often look to ideas for inspiration on how to add value to developments already in our pipeline or enhancements to new or existing features.

On a few occasions I had to extract tables from pdf files. Now, I used online converters of pdf tables to Excel, and then went from Excel to JMP. It is probably not too complex to allow users to open pdf files containing tables staight away in JMP? If free online website can offer that service, I'd expect that JMP should be capable as well!

Due to this request and others we have had in the past, JMP Development is currently working on adding this capability in the JMP 15 timeframe. JMP 15 will be available in the fall of 2019.

JMP 15 can now import data from PDF files.
