What inspired this wish list request?
an amazingly useful function in JMP: << get script()
It separates experienced users from beginners:
A pro user creates a dummy item, uses the properties to adjust and fine tune it and then he uses << get script() in a JSL editor to get all the settings.
What is the improvement you would like to see?
In the properties menu, please add a get script button.
It acts like the copy button for the Box Path , but for the script.
Why is this idea important?
Copy - Box Path was introduced in JMP17 - and it was a huge step to facilitate the communication with display boxed.
Copy - Script will be a huge step to facilitate the formatting of display boxes
