Metric Multidimensional Scaling

Within the multidimensional scaling platform (Multivariate--Multidimensional Scaling), can we have an option to do metric multidimensional scaling (MDS)?  While non-metric is generally the preferred option for social science data, it is iterative and time consuming for data with large sample size when you need a range of solutions (e.g., 2 dimensions - 6 dimensions).   Metric MDS is very quick in these situations and it is nice to get a quick view of the data in low dimension.  While an equivalent solution can be obtained using PCA via covariance matrix, other options in MDS platform like flipping axes, Waern links, etc. will be lost.

Can we have this in JMP16?
