Grouping option for recent and pinned files

What inspired this wish list request? 

My recent files list gets longer and longer - and it gets hard to find the important files.

It helps to use the pinning option - but now also the list with the pinned files continues to grow
recent files - grouping? 

What is the improvement you would like to see? 

please add a grouping option  - similar to a folder structure to group files.

This will add some structure - and many hundreds of files will find their place in the subgroups.

Why is this idea important? 

After some moths and years, it's difficult for Jmp users to find their important files.

A grouping option with > 1 level will fix the issue.

I think that the grouping should go "beyond" just recently accessed files. Recent Files are stored in registry and you never know they go poof https://community.jmp.com/t5/Discussions/Exporting-quot-Recent-Files-quot-for-migration-to-new-compu... so I would like to be able to "permanently" save those groups somewhere else (user preference files in appdata?).
