What inspired this wish list request? Very often I had models for multiple responses from the same data set. Recently, I had a few from plant data that were not from a DOE and used the extrapolation control to make sure we weren’t going too far astray. However, when using the Profiler in the Fit Group, I couldn’t use Extrapolation Control because each response had a different model (and sometimes different missing data in the Y’s). I could put the Extrapolation control on each model, link my profilers, and scroll up and down the Fit Group page to see if I am extrapolating in each model, but this is frustrating!
What is the improvement you would like to see? It would be great to be able to see a table of the extrapolation details in the Profiler when we have multiple models with different terms. A JSL example for JMP Technical Support case 00283664 gives an example with the table below the Profiler, but it would be nice to see in its usual place above the Profiler.
Why is this idea important? The extrapolation control is important for obvious reasons, but not being able to see it easily for multiple models is frustrating, especially when you have multiple acceptable solutions and want to know which are model extrapolations and by how much.
