Enhance "Name Selection in Column..." by Label Column and Label Selected Rows Option

I would like to be able to label selected points in Graph Builder with new text without having to go through the data table.

@Jeff_Perkinson suggested to use right-click -> Rows -> Name Selection in Column... to get most of what I'm looking for, which is great.

Building onto that suggestion, I think the following would be a great enhancement for "Name Selection in Column": Proving tick options to label selected rows and the newly created column, as shown in the bottom of the next graph.

Concur. One of our JMP users wants the same thing. We are adding as a shared script that will do this in the meantime.

We're working on an option like you suggested for a future release of JMP.

Starting with JMP 16 the Name Selection in Column dialog has options to make the new column a label column and to label the selected rows.
