Custom action ribbon for windows and floating action box

Hello JMP team,

I'd like to suggest two options for speeding up the usage of JMP.  While JMP is extremely flexible having to dive into drop down menus can be a slowdown in the use of JMP.

  1. Add a custom ribbon for actions and script for analysis windows.  These buttons in the platform specific toolbar would be set up in the preference menu. There should also be a scroll lock for them so they are always visible.  See example 1 pict.
  2. Add in when a shortcut button on the keyboard is presses that a floating menu box would appear next to your mouse that would have actions and script buttons you selected.  These buttons in the toolbox would be set up in the preference menu.  The box could be set up to disappear after a single click or by pressing the close icon/shortcut button again.

Right now the only option is to add action buttons to the toolbar at the top of a window which depending on your screen size can slow you down a bit and they can't be customized by platform.
