Currently X axis must be subgroup, but sometimes I just want a label, such as a timestamp or a sample id. If my subgroup is a sample of one observation, this is essentially the role it serves, but prefer my data to serve a role honestly and explicitly. IR chart allows this, but not the control chart builder.
