Explore the Numbers Behind a Graph in a Hover Label

Do you want to explore the actual numbers behind a visualization? Add a Tabulate table to a hover label.

  1. In a JMP graph, right-click and select Hover Label > Tabulate.
  2. Select a Hover Label TypeSelect a Hover Label Type
  3. Hover over a point in the graph.
  4. Show a Hover LabelShow a Hover Label
  5. Click the hover label graph to open it in a new window.
  6. Click the disclosure icon to open the Local Data Filter.
  7. Open a Local Data FilterOpen a Local Data Filter
  8. To update the Tabulate table:
    • Change your selections in the Local Data Filter.
    • Click the Tabulate red triangle > Show Control Panel. Drag a column into the table.
