To use JMP, you must be verified as approved by the software administrator. (Note: "approval" means that the software administrator must register the user's email address in advance through My JMP.)

To verify that it has been approved, do the following:

1. Click OK in the Welcome to JMP dialog.
   * If the "Automatic Approval Failed" window appears after clicking OK, follow the steps in " Manual Approval for JMP."
2. Enter your email address (note: the email address you enter here must have been approved by the software administrator).

   My JMP

3. Click Sign In .
4. (If you have not created a My JMP ID before) Enter any additional information requested and click Sign Up .
   After this, you will receive an email containing a verification code to your email address.
5. Enter the verification code and click Verify .

6. (If you have not created a My JMP ID before) Review and accept the Terms of Use.
   Checks whether JMP is certified.

   If the validation is successful, you will be asked to allow JMP to collect anonymous usage data to help improve the product.

You're now ready to start using JMP.

Note: After JMP performs one initial validation, you may still be prompted for your My JMP ID when you launch JMP.
