I am excited about the Capability Explorer add-in, which is a featured extension on the JMP Marketplace!
The inspiration for this add-in was based on conversations with new JMP users who had been carrying out process capability analysis with other software. They liked having a report where they could see all the key information for their process in one place. And while all of these analyses are available in JMP, there was not a simple way to put the information in a single report.
Within a single analysis, the Capability Explorer add-in provides a six-graph summary for evaluating process capability. In addition to the simplified report view, the report is interactive, making it easy to find outliers or highlight data that needs further inspection. The Capability Explorer is intended to be a starting point for an analysis and provide JMP users the flexibility to view reports in a familiar format. The report also has several red triangle menus that allow users to customize its appearance, launch additional analysis platforms, and save and share the results.

A few tips for using Capability Explorer:
- The add-in is a simplified version of several different JMP platforms and may not cover all of your analysis needs. For more in-depth analysis, you might need to dive into specific JMP platforms.
- There are utilities in the red triangle menus that you might find helpful for making some simple visual adjustments and to quickly export results.
