Discover and share with JMP Live

Dan Valente and Jeff Perkinson present JMP Live capabilities.Dan Valente and Jeff Perkinson present JMP Live capabilities.During the second half of the opening plenary session at Discovery Summit Tucson 2019, the world met newly released JMP product JMP Live. Customer Care Manager Jeff Perkinson and  Product Manager Dan Valente introduced JMP Live and its capabilities to a room of scientists, engineers and other data explorers.

From 1989 to 2019, a lot has changed, particularly when it comes to scientists and engineers sharing their findings. JMP began with simple options for sharing results — printing or copying and pasting report results into another application. These results were static and forced the recipient to look at the results only, with no options to go further. Fast-forward to the implementation of HTML5 reporting, which let JMP users share reports in a web browser, and JMP was even closer to the desired destination of greater interactivity that could be shared with a broad audience.

Now, JMP Live is here.

Perkinson ( @Jeff_Perkinson )  and Valente ( @Daniel_Valente ) demonstrated some of what JMP Live can do — from publishing analyses from the desktop to JMP Live through interacting with the analyses in a web browser where JMP Live functions. They showed what it could look like to share a dashboard, share a time series forecast model and even refit the model in JMP Live.

With of the interactivity of JMP on board — local data filters, column switchers, and recomputed analyses — anyone sharing using JMP Live doesn’t just send their conclusions; they deliver discoveries with the possibility of further exploration. It is truly discovery, delivered.

Additionally, JMP Live has options for limiting access based on groups, automating publishing using JSL and sharing reports from JMP Live.

With JMP Live, JMP users share insights with as many or as few as they need to. Discoveries are meant to be shared — discover and share with JMP Live.
