I bought a new computer, but the JMP app won't install on my new computer. Do I need to uninstall JMP from my old computer before I can install it on the new computer?

There should be no need for that.

  • How are you trying to install JMP?
    • Where did you get the installer?
  • Which JMP version are you installing?
  • Which operating system are you running?
    • Which were you running earlier?
  • Have you tried contacting JMP support yet?

Try to run the installer as "admin" via right click -> run as administrator.
Different to many other installers, the JMP installer doesn't ask for admin rights - and it doesn't show a warning that admin rights are missing.
