Re: in polygon?

Hi @jthi, for (internal) documentation.
Maybe it will help other JMP users as well ...

In Polygon - an amazingly useful function.
I do not want any of my colleagues to  try to "Draw a Circle? "   on levels 2 - 5.
[Thanks @Craige_Hales for the wonderful picture]

Re: in polygon?

I am sure there are other users out there who are interested in this wonderful feature : )
As users might not expect that this function exists and it's difficult to find the function, e.g. via LearnBot
I think it's worth to mention it here.

It shares many details with oval():
- the logic is clear

- an experienced user is thrilled to set up the function on his own - perhaps too "confident" to scan the documentation for prior art.

- great, there is an official function

- users might miss it (maybe some will use circle() - instead of oval()).

I agree, there exist other posts with similar topics.
Some redundancy might help.

There are other posts / topics / solutions where we accept redundancy.

Just ignore this post if it is not helpful for you.
