convert a date from a number to date

so i have a jsl data table that has dates like this: 04/09/2020 2:59:17 AM

when i save it to excel as xls file it saves it as 3675976666

so when i open it again in jmp, its a number as above, how can I transfer it back to the way it was in line number 1?

Re: convert a date from a number to date

Go to the Column Info for the column and change the format to the Date format you want. JMP dates are just numeric columns with the numeric value being the number of seconds since Midnight, January 1, 1904. So that is the number you are seeing.
