Unable to pin hover labels in graph builder

Hi, using JMP v16.2.0 on Mac.  Sometimes JMP will not allow me to pin hover label in graph builder.  The hover label will show up, but the second I move my mouse over to it, the hover label will disappear (no little pin will show up).  When this happened most recently, I noticed that it was working as expected on the far left side of the graph, but not the majority.  Any particular reason for this or work-around?

Sometimes you have to be "really fast" to get to the hover label before it disappears.

Concentrate, move the mouse as fast as possible to bridge the gap between the data point and the hover label.
