Problems with JMP installation self-extracting

Downloaded the latest JMP16 subscription and when I try to run the exe as an admin, the file seems to unzip but the installation does not continue. Checked the installation of my previous JMP and the only warning I see is  under "OLE Automation" Type library not installed. Any thoughts on how to get the installation to work?

I even tried with a JMP16.1 trial version and I face the same issue with installation not progressing after self-extraction.

AFAIK, the .NET and VC++ are up to date.

System: windows 10 64 bit, dell xps 16gb ram
