The problem you face is not linked to the number of factors. If you have a large number of factors, a memory allocation message might be displayed for the grid table.
I think the Output Grid Table is greyed out because you have a design with disallowed combinations. Hence, it is not possible to create a grid since some combinations won't be possible.
There are several alternatives :
- Use the option Output Random table
- Use the Simulator, define the type of distribution you want for each of your factors, and then create the table
- Save your prediction formula, create a new table with the grid you want for your factors (by creating a custom design with discrete numeric factors or using Cartesian Join), and then paste the prediction formula of your original table on this new prediction table.
EDIT: Any type of constraints in the design will deactivate the option "Output Grid Table" option in the Profiler, since the design space can have a very irregular geometry/shape.
