JMP script for Joining data tables using contain function

Hi All,

I have 2 data table shows as below, need to join based on 2 matches, were place  will be 100% match and the second column to be matched will be a truncated version  from first

 

Please help here to join data table based on 2 column, taking 2 column under consideration

The online help gives an example of a join based on multiple columns:

scroll down to 'Examples of Joining By Matching Columns'.

 

Your title says you want a JSL script - well its hard to build a script if you don't know how to do it interactively in JMP.  And once you can do that JMP will give you the script (check the 'source' script in the output table, or the log window if you are using JMP 16).
