Interval Tray setting in preferences

Hi,

Is there a way in JMP to set a preference where if the data on my x-axis in nominal or ordinal to always plot as an interval tray? I find myself constantly having to update the x-axis settings whenever I plot ordinal or nominal data on x-axis.

Re: Interval Tray setting in preferences

The only way that I know to pre-determine axis settings is to use the Axis column property. This approach is not a global preference for any X axis. It is specific to a data column. It should affect all plots, though, using this variable in the X role. You can set it once for more than one column at a time using Cols > Standardize Attributes command.
