How to transpose column values into column name of a new table?

Please see the attached data table.

I would like to do the following using a JMP script:

1. Copy the column values in the column "[General]" and transpose them into the column name of a new table.

2. Copy the column values in the column "Column 2" and transpose them into row 1 of a new table.

Can anyone provide me with some guidance?

Thank you!

Re: How to transpose column values into column name of a new table?

Use fhe pull down menu

     Tables==>Transpose

and set the column you want for the new column names to the "Lablel" selection

Then once the new table is completed, go to the "Source" entry in the Table Panel of the new data table, and edit it, and you will find the JSL required to do what you just did interactively.
