How to set JMP v11 as default launcher

Hi all,

I'm using both JMP v11 and v12 and my JMP default launcher is v12. Recently I have an add-in which is only available for JMP v11. However, when I installed the add-in, it automatically launched JMP v12 instead of JMPv11. Would you please share how to switch the default launcher from JMPv12 to v11 and backwards?

Start up the version of JMP you want to run

Go to

     Files==>Preferences==>Windows Specific

Click on the button in the lower center of the window that says

     Reset Associations

This should do what you want, and allow the proper startup of the addin, etc

Now in my Mac, i have JMP 11 and 12. The default launch is set to JMP 12. But i prefer to open a jmp table with JMP 11 when i click a data table. How to handle under Mac JMP preference? Thanks.

On the Mac the operating system handles this based on which application was installed last. If you've installed both JMP 11 and JMP 12 you'll need to reinstall JMP 11 in order to make that the default application.

I am using a server at my work, which has both jmp 12 and 11 installed, but default is 11. How may I change the default to 12?
