How to calc. the area under a curve?

i m new to JMP 7.
I want to calculate the area under a Curve, using the Trapezium rule.
can any one tell me how to do this?

I tried to modify the script for calculating the area, but was unable to do so successfully.
could you please tell me how to input different values of Y, in the script each time!

The Y values are not used as input to the script. The Y values and the X values are used in Nonlinear platform to get a fitted model. That model is used in the script. You can refer to the last entry I posted on this thread on Mar 6 for details on using Nonlinear and the script.

I have been wondering how to calculate the same thing. I found this newsletter, which has an easier explanation. Generating the equation is the tricky part.

It would be great if JMP incorporated the trapezoidal rule into their standard calculations. This is a very common calculation among scientists, especially in the pharmacokinetics area.
