How can I create a multiple line graph with a categorical X-axis?

Hey team, I'm Darshan Hiranandani,  I need to create a multiple line graph with a categorical X-axis for my project. Does anyone have any suggestions or best practices on how to achieve this? Your input would be greatly appreciated!

Re: How can I create a multiple line graph with a categorical X-axis?

Here is a simple example using the Animals data table from the Sample Data Folder

  1. Open the Animal Data Table
  2. Click on the Graph Builder Icon or go to the pull down menu    Graph=>Graph Builder
  3. Drag column Miles to the Y Drop area
  4. Drag column Season to the X Drop area
  5. Drag column Species to the Overlay drop area
  6. Click on the Line icon to change the displayed points to a line chart
