Hello dear All,
I was trying to figure out how JMP associates the resolution to blocked factorial or fractional factorial designs. JMP presents the resolution under the label 'Resolution - what is estimable' of the Screening design platform.
I will make two examples:
1) for a design with resolution VII, like the 2 to 7-1, JMP reports 5+. What is the meaning of the +? Does it mean that the resolution is actually higher than V?
2) for a 2 to 4 run in two blocks JMP reports a resolution of 5+. What is the meaning of the + in this case?
Many thanks and have a fun weekend,
Marcello.
