[Graph Builder on JMP16] create multi-axes by drag columns into dropzone with shift pressed, the order reversed, how to fix

Hi all,

Currently I find that a multi-axes can be created instead of all items merged in one ax achieved by pressing the shift before releasing my click on dropzone. But the order of my selection order is hence reversed to the col list, why it happens, can it be fixed? there is no loading reduction between manual fixing the order and dragging them one by one to the axes

If that does not answer your questions: could you provide an example data file or some images of what your current and desired outcome are? I'm not sure I fully understand your question.

In JMP18, the order in Graph builder fits to the order in the column list:

Please check if you have an option to update to a later version.

my selection order is like col A B C top to down, the axes order at my graph will be A B C with no shift pressing but flip to C B A while holding.

Ah, sorry. 
the order in which the columns are selected has no influence, it's just the order in the list.

It's like selecting the columns and pressing CTRL+C. When you paste the content of the clipboard into a text editor, you will see that the order is always the same independent of the order of selecting the items.

I see, I could rearrange my col order on the table, but the reversed orders between pressing shift/ no pressing still bothered.

can you share a screenshot what does the "reversed" mean?
Without Shift all the columns end up in one plot. Which "order" do you refer to?

For this example here it's also "height" and "weight", like in the previous graph:
