Formula Editor window closes automatically

Dear All,

Whenever I try to type anything into the Formula Editor in JMP, the window suddenly closes by itself. I use JMP Pro  19.0.4. It happens every time, and it's really frustrating.

I’m attaching a short video showing what happens. Has anyone experienced this issue or knows how to fix it?

I suggest contacting JMP Support, JMP Support

Before posting here, I contacted JMP Support. Their response was: “Since your license is JMP Student Edition, please submit the issue to the JMP User Community.”
So… here I am.

First idea that comes to my mind, is that you have shortcut on "Close All Tables" and some key combination you are using, is triggering that

Though it should prompt you to save your work as you have maybe done changes to your table

You can check your shortcuts from View > Customize > Menus and Toolbars
