I'm a beginner in application builder, I use spacerbox, sometimes the width can't be adjusted, sometimes the height can't be adjusted

Re: Can't change the size of the spacer box?

Got it. You need to do the below in addition to disabling stretching.

Re: Can't change the size of the spacer box?

Interesting that there's no response. I'm having the same issue, but at least I got the size down to the default value after unticking "Enabled" under the "Stretching" outline box in the Properties. However, the values of 18 and 23 don't respond at all. I'd understand if size were restricted in one dimension, but both!?

Anyone who knows how to solve this or is the solution hidden in Need help with scripting Panel Box ?

Re: Can't change the size of the spacer box?

Spacers are often used to add variable amounts of space between boxes, which is the use case for stretching.  If you are using fixed-size spacers, another option would be to add margin to the boxes that you want to separate.  In some cases the variable-spacing can be accomplished with the alignment options - for example, to right-align some buttons at the bottom of a dialog.
