Bar Chart Labels

How can I change chart labels to bold font? I have every font in preferences set to bold, yet chart labels remain normal type. I have JMP 18 installed.

Re: Bar Chart Labels

Graph Builder has a few options to customize the fonts and styles. Are you using Graph Builder, or another platform?

  • To set a Preference to always use bold type in graph or axis titles, that can be set under File > Preferences > Fonts > Axis Title (or Graph Title).
  • If you only want to set this font style in the current analysis: in Graph Builder, right-click directly on the title text and select "Font".
    • Optionally, hold Ctrl while doing this to apply the change to all similar titles in the window.
    • Once the fonts look the way you like, you can save this as a Platform Preset by clicking on the small star icon in the upper right corner of the graph builder window. This can then be applied to future analyses.
